EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Programs that drive change must include education.
We support community energy projects with energy education – providing our clients, community members, and local students with information and hands-on experience with energy efficiency and green energy technologies.
This has multiple benefits:
- Building community awareness, enthusiasm, and support for the community energy plan (CEP).
- Capacity building for youth and adults so that they are positioned to undertake more work associated with energy efficiency, energy management, and green energy supply projects.
- Providing teachers and students with interesting local content from their own community, directly linked to “student learning outcomes” and to local priorities.
