At Greenplanet Energy Analytics, we acknowledge that our work spans the traditional territories of many Indigenous Peoples, who have lived on these lands and cared for them since time immemorial.

Our team members live and work on the ancestral and unceded lands of numerous First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in what is now known as Alberta and Ontario. In Alberta, we acknowledge the Treaty 6, 7 and 8 territories. Alberta is also the historical Northwest Métis Homeland – which includes five Territories. We are honoured to have shared this land with these Nations since the treaties were entered into. In Ontario, we acknowledge that we operate on the traditional territories of many nations. This includes the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendat, Algonquin, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

We honour and respect the enduring relationships that Indigenous peoples have with these lands, waters, and all living things. We are committed to learning from and collaborating with Indigenous communities to advance environmental stewardship and sustainability in a manner that honours their histories, cultures and contributions.

We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
