Aisha brings a blend of technical and strategic expertise to her role at Greenplanet, where she serves as a project lead or senior consultant on selected initiatives. Her responsibilities encompass technical design and implementation, business development, and capacity-building.

Aisha’s professional journey has focused on climate action and social justice initiatives. Her experience is grounded in developing and implementing initiatives that deliver environmental, social, and economic impact. She loves taking fuzzy ideas and building them into something tangible, leveraging her technical and business know-how. She enjoys leading multi-stakeholder initiatives and dialogues, aimed at building consensus, developing new perspectives, and identifying pathways to solve big challenges. She has held a variety of roles at Toronto Hydro, MaRS Discovery District, Attollo – an ed-tech social enterprise that she co-founded – and Women In Renewable Energy (WiRE).

Aisha holds a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a M.Eng. in Electric Power Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and an M.B.A. from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She serves on the Board of Pembina Institute and is the Vice President and Executive Board member for WiRE.
